The grasshopper was sitting and singing on a blade of grass when he saw the ant pass by again.
“Ant, why don’t you sit with me and enjoy the sun?” the grasshopper asked. Without stopping, the ant answered: “I have to gather food for my family. We’ll need it for winter.”
“Winter? That’s so far away!” chirped the grasshopper. “Why bother? There’s plenty of food.”
The ant carried on, lugging more food home.
